Why do it?
The Clean is the strongest way to get a heavy weight to shoulder height and a fundamental movement in Olympic lifting.
Form Check
Instructions
- Push the bar off the floor like a deadlift
- Drive with hip and toe extension while shrugging so that the bar reaches the highest point possible
- Jump down under the bar and catch it on your fully bent arms at the top of your chest
- Drive from the bottom of the squat until standing straight
