Why do it?

The Pistol Squat is a challenging variation of the King of Exercises that you can do anywhere. It requires significant strength, balance and practice.

Form Check

Parallel (at least) No wobbling

Instructions

  1. Stand up straight
  2. Lift one foot and move your weight over to the other foot
Single Leg Squat
  1. Lower yourself until your bent thigh is at most parallel to the floor
Single Leg Squat
  1. Raise yourself back up to standing
Single Leg Squat
  1. Repeat with the other leg
